Summary Federal Ombudsman has fined Rs. 1lac to both individuals.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya news) – The Federal Ombudsman for Protection of Women Retired Justice Yasmeen Abassi on Tuesday fined Chairman of Science Foundation Dr. Khalil Ahmed and Secretary Dr. Hafeez Ullah Khan for harrasment of a female maid. A copy of the decision was obtained by Dunya news. After inquiring into the event, the Federal Ombudsman has fined Rs. 1 lac to both individuals. They have also been advised to observe caution in the future.
According to the female domestic help, both individuals have kept on harassing her. The Chairman and the Secretary persistently pressurized her to meet them outside. She was warned of dire consequences when she refused to do so.
