MUZAFFARGARH (Web Desk) – At least eight labourers working in a well on Thursday were electrocuted to death in Muzaffargarh, Dunya news reported.
The incident took place while the workers were installing water motors and boring tube wells when they accidently touched the high voltage wires.
Eight of the labourers died at the spot while two others sustained injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Zafar Hussain, Muhammad Nazar, Qadir Bux, Manzoor Ahmed, Allah Dad, Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Shahid and Muhammad Riaz while the injured included Muhammasd Hafeez and Abdullah.
The bodies and injured were shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Muzaffargarh.
