Summary Police had caught the accused red handed while wearing a suicide jacket.

LAHORE (Dunya News) –  A division bench comprising of Justice Sikandar Zulqarnain Saleem and Justice Khalid Mehmood Malik on Tuesday began the hearing of appeal of offender implicated in Wah Cantt suicide case.


The defendant s stance against the charge was that he was not involved in the 2008 suicide bombing of a mosque near Wah Ordinance Factory.

Based on the evidence from police, the counter-terrorism court had handed a death sentence of 69 hangings to the accused.

The court rejected the appeal after hearing the prosecution. It upheld the decision of hanging the criminal Hameed Ullah 69 times.

The Police had caught the accused red handed while wearing a suicide jacket. Moments ago another suicide bomber had blown himself up near a mosque in Wah Cantt, killing 69 and injuring 41 people.
