RAWALPINDI (Dunya news) – Anti-Terrorsim Court’s (ATC) Judge Pervaiz Ismail Joiya on Tuesday delayed the hearing of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto’s murder case. The hearing was postponed till Wednesday due to the absence of the prosecutor Chaudary Azhar. No further progress was made in the case due to his absence.
According to the details, the hearing of the case started when 5 suspects arrested in relation to the murder including former City Police Officer (CPO) Saud Aziz and Superintendent of Police (SP) Khurram Shahzad were presented in the court but the prosecutor was missing due to an illness. The trial of the case could not be completed even after 7 years due to persistent absence of the prosecutor and witnesses.
