Summary Governer Sindh said that Malik Riaz has always been at the forefront of relief work
KARACHI (Dunya News) -- Bahria Town has set a trend in relief work by giving away cheques to the affectees of the tragedy of Timber Market.
Speaking to the media, Malik Riaz said that Bahria Town is giving away the relief funds out of pureness of their heart and not as a favor.
Governer Sindh Dr Ashrat-ul-Ibaad said that Malik Riaz has always been at the forefront of relief work. He added that Malik Riaz is a charity tycoon in addition to being a business tycoon.
Before this event, Bahria Town had also distributed plots of 150 yards and cheques of 10 lacs to the families of the martyred Sindh Police.
Bahria Town’s Vice Executive Zain Malik told the media that Malik Riaz’s vision is to strive for the welfare of the Police.
On receiving the handsome amount and the ownership certificates of the plots, the recipients became emotional. In the initial stage, families of 20 police personnel have received relief from Bahria Town so far.
Malik Riaz has announced that if any victims of Timber Market incident have not received cheques, they can contact Bahria Town office for assistance in the matter.
