Summary Police contingent, BSD and army have all been summoned at the site of explosion.
HAYATABAD (Dunya News) – At least eight people got killed and 50 injured in a blast that occurred near a mosque in imambargah in Hayatabad on Friday during Jummah prayers.
Gunshots were also heard right after the explosions whereas police contingent and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) have also been summoned while the area has been condoned off. Army has also reached the site.
According to an eyewitness, a few terrorists entered the premises of the mosque, while 70 to 100 people were offering their prayers, and opened gunshots when one of the suicide bombers blew himself up.
Another eyewitness stated that five terrorists had adorned police uniforms.
Forty-six injured were being transferred to Hayatabad Medical Complex and emergency has been declared in the hospital while 20 of the injured have been declared critical.
