Summary Deputy Speaker adjourned the hearing till indefinite time following the lack of quorum.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition parties including Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Friday walked out from the national Assembly recording their protest over the increased tax on the petroleum products.

National Assembly session was headed by Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed in which the opposition parties left the NA while demonstrating protest against escalated tax on petrol.

Opposition Leaders stated that they have given sufficient time to the government to reduce the taxes but the government didn’t pay any attention on this issue and demanded to lower the taxes to relief the nation.
