Summary Presence of candidate while submitting nomination papers is mandatory.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday has issued essential instructions to the candidates for the Senate election and termed the presence of candidate while submitting nomination papers as mandatory, Dunya News reported.

ECP ordered the candidates and prescriber to be present during the submission of the papers whereas the candidates can also appeal the Secretary Election Commission and provincial Election Commissioner in case of rejection.

Senate candidates have to submit Rs 2,000 along with their nomination papers.

Candidates of Islamabad would present their papers before Director-General (DG) Election Commission whereas Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) applicants would submit their papers to DG Admin.
