Summary More than 12,000 suspects have been detained under the implementation of NAP.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ahmed Khan on Wednesday revealed that as many as 60 banned outfits have gripped their presence in the country, Dunya News reported.

During his talk in the National Assembly, he stated that terrorists are using mobile sims as a tool to conduct terrorist activities whereas three crore mobile sims have been verified until now however, the process of sims verification is underway.

Chaudhry Nisar further revealed that at least 60 banned outfits have been left in the country which would be countered as early as possible and that the future policy related to these organizations would also be disclosed in a few days.

 More than 12,000 suspects have been detained under the implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) whereas more than 3,000 cases have also been registered against the misuse of loud speakers , he added.

 We tried to initiate talks with terrorists but their brutal response has made us to carry out military operation against them , Nisar stated.

Moreover, he vowed to take the country towards success by eradicating terrorism and extremism from the country.
