ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co chairman Asif Ali Zardari is likely to reach Islamabad today (Wednesday) to head various party meetings regarding the Senate elections, Dunya News reported.

According to sources, Zardari has decided to call on Punjab’s Parliamentary Party meeting in which the members will be briefed about the Senate elections whereas he has also summoned the party leaders in Islamabad concerning the Gilgit Baltistan elections.

Moreover, the co chairman PPP is also expected to meet the Foreign Minister of China on February 12.

On the other hand, Asif Ali Zardari telephoned PPP President Amin Faheem and discussed the Senate elections and party tickets distribution whereas Amin Faheem ratified the decision of Parliamentary Board regarding ticket distribution.

Furthermore, Amin Faheem reached Dubai from Germany after treatment and termed the news of differences with the party as misleading.
