KARACHI (Dunya News) -- Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) workers held a rally, starting from Ayesha Manzil, to show support for their leader Altaf Hussain on Tuesday.
The participants of the rally took different routes to reach Shahra-e-Qaideen. Amir Khan and Haider Abbas Rizvi, joint incharge of Rabta Committee took part in the rally on a motorbike. The rallies met again at Shahra-e-Qaideen where the excitement of the women and children was barely containable.
The women at the event said that nobody had the right to criticize MQM chief Altaf Hussain. They further added that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan should see a doctor for his mental health and if Imran Khan criticized their leader again, he would be given a befitting response.
MQM leader, Khalid Maqbool said that conspiracies were hatched in the past against MQM and had been thwarted. He said that he would reveal the true face of Imran Khan before the masses.
MQM leader, Dr Farooq Sattar said that Imran Khan has struck at the heart of national unity. He asked Imran Khan whether he would be willing to go one-on-one in a debate with their party leader.
Faisal Sabzwari alleged that Imran Khan had used obscene language for every national leader. He enquired that if the rallies of MQM were held on the threat of guns, were Imran Khan s sit-ins held on the threat of canons?
Babar Ghouri said that Imran Khan was threatening the national harmony. He dared PTI to hold a rally in Karachi after this incident.
Rauf Siddiqui asserted that Imran Khan had won the election in Khyber Pakhtunkwa (KP) with the support of Taliban.
