ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- During the inauguration ceremony of Annual Flight Safety Review 2014 at Air-Headquarters, the head of Air Force, Air-Chief Marshal Tahir Rafiq Butt stated that Pakistan has advanced significantly in the field of air safety.
He said that the integrated system by which the Air Force is protecting the country’s strategic assets is a living proof of the culture that is being promoted.
The Air-Chief said that excellence in training has been the hallmark of their service. He appreciated the efforts of commanders and supervisors in this regard. The ceremony was attended by Principal Staff Officers (PSO), Regional Commanders and commanders of all airbases.
Flight Safety Review is an annual event which is held to gauge the operational readiness of the aircrafts. The event also presents itself as an opportunity for review of flight standards and to acquire awareness about flight safety.
