Karachi: Govt's negligence turns school into junkyard

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Negligence of government has turned Government Boys and Girls Secondary School in Karachi s area Manghopir into a heap of garbage where no administration is active and lack of security arrangements has also been reported.

As per details, the security of the school has not been enhanced despite government’s tall claims whereas students are forced to sit on the floors during school hours due to lack of furniture in the classes.

On the other hand, talking about the sanitation system, the administration has failed to ensure the cleanliness as the play ground is full of sewer water and students have to cross the piles of garbage and wastewater while going to their respective class rooms.

Teachers stated that the Education Department was informed about the current situation of the school however, not even a single government official has bothered to visit the school.

Government should provide us furniture for the students and should also take steps for future strategies in terms of education, school board added.

Moreover, school management enraged over the government s negligence and demanded to sort out the matter as early as possible.
