Summary Struggle of Kashmiri people could not be suppressed through the use of force, the PM said.
MUZAFFARABAD (Web Desk) – On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stated that Kashmir is jugular vein of Pakistan and no power of the world can break this strong bond.
Addressing the joint session of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and Kashmir Council in Muzaffarabad today (Thursday), the Prime Minister said that Pakistan will continue to extend moral, diplomatic and political support to Kashmiri people for their struggle for the right to self- determination.
Resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions is vital for regional peace, he added.
He reiterated that Pakistan will not accept any solution of Kashmir dispute that is contrary to the aspirations of Kashmiri people.
Paying homage to the martyrs of Kashmir cause, PM Nawaz said that Kashmiri people are unwaveringly continuing their struggle for their just cause.
Time is not far away when the clouds of oppression will shed and the Kashmiri people will see the dawn of independence, he said.
Giving his remarks on Indo-Pak ties, Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan seeks result oriented talks with the neighbouring country for the resolution of all outstanding issues, however, the agenda of dialogue will remain inconclusive without inclusion of Kashmir issue.
