Summary PPP MNA had ordered the sandwich at NA cafeteria in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- A live cockroach was found in a sandwich served at the cafeteria of the National Assembly (NA) in Islamabad. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MNA Naveed Qamar narrowly avoided eating the sandwich.
Due to the inferior state of hygiene, cockroaches have started appearing in the food. During the meeting of a sub-committee of Public Accounts Committee (PAC), tea and sandwiches were served. The committee’s convener was taken by surprise just when he was about to eat the sandwich.
Naveed Qamar became angry and ordered an enquiry as to how the cockroach made it to his sandwich. The staff of the cafeteria defended itself by saying that the cockroach was on the plate and not in the sandwich.
Earlier, a cockroach had also come out when a PPP MNA Shazia Mari was putting ketchup on her food. An enquiry had been ordered on the matter as well but so far no action has been taken.
