MULTAN (Dunya News) – Anti-measles campaign is underway in Multan during which children aging from six months to ten years will be vaccinated, Dunya News reported on Saturday.
According to the sources, 2339 teams organized by the health department are on the move in all the hospitals, schools and houses to inoculate at least 13,54,400 children in 185 union councils (UC’s) of Multan.
However, in the last six days 45 percent of the target has been achieved by immunizing at least 650,000 children.
Moreover, the anti-measles campaign will be continued till February 9 for which the health department requires the cooperation of the citizens.
