Summary Arrest warrants of Yaseen Farooq were issued for not being present at the case hearing.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday issued arrest warrants for prosecutor’s witness, Director Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Yaseen Farooq, for not being present during the case proceedings in reference to Benazir murder case.
ATC Judge Pervez Ismail Joya conducted the case hearings in Adiala Jail (Central Jail Rawalpindi) where he issued orders to arrest Yaseen Farooq for being absent and directed DSP Legal to comply with the orders.
Yaseen Farooq was appointed SSP Rawalpindi when Benazir Bhutto was assassinated.
The court reissued summons for Ismail, another witness in the murder case, and adjourned the hearing.
