Summary "There's no such party that doesn't have criminal elements within", he said

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Karachi police chief Ghulam Qadir Thebo on Tuesday said that the police is acting against criminals and not against a particular political party, adding that there are no parties that don’t have criminals in them, Dunya News reported.

Thebo vowed not to spare any criminal element whether it is in police or political parties.

Talking to the media, he said that allegations are often leveled against the police force. He said he had talked about criminal groups without naming any political party because “there are good and bad people in every party”.

“There’s no such party that doesn’t have criminal elements within”, he said.

“People take refuge of political parties in order to hide their crimes and try to gain political backing.”

He said it cannot be denied that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) also has criminals in it.

Talking about Rangers raiding CPLC chief’s residence, Thebo said he has no information on that, adding that even CPLC chief hasn’t confirm that it was a ‘raid’.
