Summary The committees will review the security of sensitive areas in Lahore.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore District Coordination Officer (DCO) Captain (retd) Usman on Tuesday formed 44 security advisory committees under the Punjab Security Ordinance 2015 for the sensitive areas.

According to DCO Lahore, every committee would be comprised of seven-members whereas the local Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) would be the chairperson of the committees.

In connection with the ordinance, 10 advisory committees in city division, 14 in civil line division, 11 committees in Cantt division, 5 in Iqbal Town whereas 4 committees will be formed in Sadar division.

He further stated that the committees will work for the security of sensitive areas and would also summon meetings to discuss the steps for the improvement.
