Summary Afghanistan's top delegation will visit Pakistan next month
ISLAMABAD (Dunya news) – Secretary for Defense Lt. General Alam Khattak on Monday said that the United States (US) has relayed it’s complete assurance on the capture or the assasination of the terrorist Mullah Fazal-ullah. Pakistan also took US into confidence regarding its security situation.
He stated this in a briefing during a meeting of Senate’s standing committee regarding defense.
According to the sources, briefing on Pak-US advisory meeting and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Shareef’s visit to to the US was also given to the participants of the meeting. The sources also said that Mullah Fazal-ullah escaped a drone attack in Afgahnistan. Sources of the defense authorities said that Afghanistan’s top delegation will visit Pakistan next month. System ofsecret intelligence information sharing between Pakistan, Afghanistan and the US has been imroved.
The particpants of the meeting were also told that the US would give Pakistan 1 biliion dollars in regards to the support fund whereas the US army will remain in Afghanistan till the end of this year.
