Summary The convicted offenders murdered Dr Ali Raza Teran by firing in the Soldier bazaar area in 2001
KARACHI (Dunya news) – The Anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Saturday issued the death warrants of 2 terrorists. Both terrorists belong to a banned organization. Mohammad Azam alias Sharif and Atta-ullah alias Qasim have been sentenced to death by hanging.
According to the details, the convicted offenders murdered Dr Ali Raza Terani by firing in the Soldier bazaar area in 2001. After the ATC handed them the death sentences both Sindh High Court and Supreme Court cancelled the appeals of the convicted.
When the President of Pakistan cancelled the appeal for mercy the families of both convicts in order to stop the death sentence filed for review of application which was then cancelled. After the review of applications was cancelled the ATC issued the death warrants for hanging again. The convicts will be sent to the gallows on 3rd February.
