LAHORE (Dunya News) – United States (US) secretary of state John Kerry on Friday has said that they could not eliminate terrorism from the world by blaming the Muslims. He said that only a solid long-term vision could lead elimination of extremism.

He expressed these views while addressing the participants of the World Economic Forum in Davis, Switzerland.

Kerry said that terrorism prevails in the region where government institutions are weak. He said that military action is one of the weapons to put an end to extremism. He expressed grief over the Peshawar massacre. He has not seen a brutal act of terror like Peshawar attack, he added. Kerry said that no incident is worse than Peshawar attack in history, politics and religions. He said that imagery of Peshawar attack is there in their minds.

Kerry said that the brave teacher in Peshawar Army Public School (APS) told militants in her last words that she is the mother of these innocent students. He said that Malala Yousafzai is a ray of hope for the women all over the world. Education opportunities for women all around the world should be maximized, he added.
