LAHORE (Web Desk) - Intermittent rain is continuing in different parts of Punjab province including Lahore and Faisalabad divisions.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, widespread rainfall is expected in Islamabad, Upper Punjab ( Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faislabad, Sahiwal divisions), Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan division) and Kashmir while at scattered places in North Balochistan (Quetta, Zhob, Kalat divisions), Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24 hours.
Rain is also expected at isolated places in Sukkur, Larkana, Sibbi and Naserabad division. Rain with snowfall over the hills is expected in most parts of the country during next 12 hours.
Temperature recorded on Wednesday in major cities including Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar 8°C, Karachi 15°C, Quetta 3°C, Gilgit 2°C, Muzaffarabad 7°C and Murree 2°C.
Coldest places recorded during last 24 hours include Parachinar -9.0°C ,Skardu -8.0°C, Gupis, Kalat -5.0 °C, Astore -4.0°C, Hunza -3.0°C, Gilgit -2.0°C and Malamjabba -1.0°C.
