LAHORE (Dunya News) – The petrol shortage in Punjab continues on the eighth day as the customers ranging in age from children to senior citizens stood in long queues at the petrol pumps. The petrol crisis has disturbed the routine lives of the citizens.

People were unable to reach their offices while some reached late. Students faced problems to get to their schools. Housewives had to get out of their homes leaving their domestic responsibilities to get petrol.

Moreover, petrol pumps presented a sight of chaos as people exhibited violent behavior. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) workers demonstrated a protest and raised slogans against the government in wake of the petrol shortage at the Kachehri Chowk in Multan.
