ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The opposition parties in the National Assembly on Tuesday have submitted a requisition to call a National Assembly meeting regarding the countrywide petrol crisis.
According to the details, at least 95 percent of the members have signed the requisition. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Awami National Party (ANP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Muslim League-Qauid-e-Azam (PML-Q), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and independent members have signed the requisition.
The requisition maintains a stance that measures on emergency basis are needed to get the people of the country out of this crisis demanding a National Assembly meeting.
The government is bound to call a meeting within next at least 14 days starting from the day when requisition is submitted.
