LAHORE (Dunya News) – Shortage of petrol has continued on the sixth day in various areas of Punjab while the public face problems in seeking petrol in different parts of the province, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
According to sources, the country will run out of furnace oil stock till Monday after which the public may also face long and unscheduled load-shedding.
Mostly petrol pumps are either closed and those selling fuel periodically witness a long queue of vehicles.
Petrol deficit has forced people to wait for long hours however they get fuel in a very limited quantity on their turn.
Earlier, the government announced to open the CNG stations to give some relief to the public but no action was taken on it.
Most of the CNG stations of the city are closed and those opened has led the public to wait in a long queue.
People are of the view that the government has failed to give relief to the public as the shortage of petrol has impeded and limited the transportation.
