LAHORE (Dunya News) – Director General (DG) Inter Services Public relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa on Thursday has said that the Pakistan Army is conducting an indiscriminate operation among all banned outfits and extremist organizations.

He expressed these views in a media briefing in London.

DG ISPR said that the operations against terrorists including that in North Waziristan are continuing successfully. He expressed a resolve to continue the operations until the elimination of terrorism from the country.

DG Bajwa said that the attack on Karachi Airport was the turning point after which the Pakistan Army launched operation against terrorists. He further said that they would not let Pakistani soil get used against any country.

DG ISPR said that India is making it difficult for Pakistan to counter terrorism. He said that India is continuously violating the border agreement and it wants to deviate Pakistan’s attention from its struggle for peace. He said that Prime Minsiter (PM) Nawaz sharif made all-out efforts to better relation with India and his counterpart Narendra Modi also met him in this regard. India suspended the secretary-level talks. Pakistan had also offered India to hold talks on DG level. DG Bajwa said that India is making wrong allegations on Pakistan.

He said that the Kashmir issue is a big hurdle in the peace making struggles of Pakistan and India.
