Summary Earlier, KP Information Minister Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani had termed these protests, 'politicised'

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The visit to the Army Public School (APS) by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and his wife Reham Khan on Wednesday was rocked by unexpected demonstration of protest by the aggrieved parents of the brutal Peshawar attack martyrs. They were seen shouting against PTI chairman saying that they did not need his ‘change’. The Shuhada-e-Peshawar Forum, a forum for the bereaved families of the Peshawar attack said that Khan was too busy in his wedding while the parents continued to grieve for their losses.

According to the details, Imran and Reham Khan’s entry to the APS was blocked by the parents of the Peshawar attack martyrs as a demonstration of protest. Khan had to enter into the school though a different entrance point. The police pushed the parents and families away to make way for PTI chairman.

KP Information Minister Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani termed these protests  politicised  and said that the protesters were Awami National Party (ANP) workers. The Shuada-e-Peshawar Forum blasted these allegations as false saying that only the aggrieved parents were present at the spot to demonstrate a protest. The members of the forum expressed these views in a press conference later. They said that it was an attempt to play politics in the name of their martyred children. Moreover, they said that if the allegations are proven false, Ghani would have to resign.

The grieving parents said that Khan deserted them when they needed him the most. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Pervaiz Khattak was also condemned saying that he should resign from his post as he was unable to protect their children and could not provide the required security to the schools. They further said that if Khattak remains the CM of KP, the province and the nation were doomed.

The parents said that they had seen the so-called ‘change’ of Khan. Moreover, they passed sarcastic remarks ‘thanking’ him for this ‘change’.
