Summary PAT to demonstrate county-wide protests starting from January 17 in wake of Model Town incident

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday has announced the schedule of demonstration of protests in different cities in connection with the alleged rigging in the General Elections 2013.

According to the PTI spokesperson Shireen Mazari, workers convention would be held in Islamabad on January 18, February 1 in Karachi, February 8 in Lahore and February 15 in Peshawar. PTI chairman Imran Khan would address to all the workers conventions.

On the other hand, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has announced to demonstrate county-wide protests starting from January 17 in wake of Model Town incident. PAT president Dr Raheeq Abbasi said that the demonstration of protests would start from Lahore. He further said that they would go to any lengths to get justice for the victims.
