Summary Use of wrong kind of ink and lack of a thumb impression could not lead to fresh elections, says Dar
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar on Monday has said that enough deliberation has been done over the matter of establishment of judicial commission and if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is willing for it with utmost seriousness then the matter could be resolved within half an hour.
He expressed these views in a press conference in Islamabad.
He said that some clauses regarding the establishment of judicial commission are causing the delay and not being agreed upon and the government is trying to resolve the matter as soon as possible. He said that the use of wrong kind of ink and a place lacking thumb impression could not lead to holding of fresh elections in the country.
Dar also said that United States of America (USA) did not refuse to give a grant worth $35 crore for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and war on terror and it is matter that awaits congress’s approval. While talking about the successes of the Pakistan Army against terrorism, he said that the Operation Zarb-e-Azb is continuing with success and maximum hideouts of terrorists have been destroyed.
The federal minister said that the government is raising voice against the Indian aggression. India increases strain at the borders when a foreign diplomat or delegation is scheduled to visit Pakistan or India. He said that the target of $ 15 billion foreign exchange reserves has been met by the end of December 2014. Dar said that after many years Pakistan has met the condition of possession of foreign exchange reserves for at least three years by the central bank.
For the first time International Monitory Fund (IMF) completed five reviews of the country’s economy while the sixth one would soon be completed, he added.
