RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Shiekh Rashid on Saturday paid a visit to Chittian Hattian Imam Bargah after the suicide attack Friday night that killed over seven people and injured at least 15. He had to fled the site due to a protest.

According to the details, the locals demonstrated a protest condemning government’s negligence to let the incident happen upon which Rasheed went back from the site.

The protesters said that AWM leader lives quite near to the attack site but did not come to review the rescue operations. They said that now he has come to fulfill a formality and it does not mean anything to them.

However, Shiekh Rasheed left the site after the protest turned aggressive.
