Summary Political parties and provinces have a discord over the construction of Kalabagh dam, says AK Dogar.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed the petitions for construction of Kalabagh dam declaring them inadmissible.
A three-member bench led by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk heard the proceeding of the case pertaining to Kalabagh dam’s construction.
Lawyer of the petitioner, AK Dogar said issue of construction of Kalabagh dam has been argued for years adding that obstruction of construction of the damn would prove to be detrimental.
He further said political parties and provinces have a disagreement over building Kalabagh dam.
The court dismissed the case after hearing out the preliminary arguments declaring the petitions inadmissible.
