LAHORE (Dunya News) – The residents of Lahore city have given up their patience by staging a protest over the continuous gas cut-off on Thursday.
The protesters blocked the Multan Road by demonstrating a sit-in protest and stated that the continuous gas load-shedding has created various problems for domestic users.
They further complained that the lack of gas facility in very cold weather have doubled the expenses.
The protest was led by local leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) which was later called off on the assurance of sorting out the issue by Sui gas officials.
