Summary State Department Spokesperson has said that US encourages dialogue between Pakistan and India.
WASHINGTON (Agencies) – Briefing the media in Washington on Monday, State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki expressed concern over flare-up in tensions between Pakistan and India after cross border shelling and said that US encourages dialogue between the two countries.
"We certainly support dialogue between the countries. There have been some steps over the past year, that you know, where there have been more positive exchanges. Obviously, there s more work that needs to be done," Jen Psaki said.
