ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A two-member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan will hold hearing of the petition of the federal government challenging bail of the main accused in the Mumbai attacks case, Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi on January 6.

According to the sources, Chief Justice (CJ) of Pakistan Justice Nasirul Mulk has formed a two-member bench to hold hearing of Lakhvi against the Islamabad High Court (IHC) verdict of his bail on the petition of the Interior Ministry.

The bench headed by Justice Jawad S Khawaja would hold the hearing on January 6 (Tuesday).

Earlier, the IHC had discarded the notification of Lakhvi’s detention and ordered his bail.
