Summary Afghan delegation's visit is part of the regular Parliamentarians' Dialogue between two countries.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said that a peaceful, stable and prosperous Afghanistan is in Pakistan’s best interest.
He said this during a meeting with 18-member Afghan Parliamentary delegation in Islamabad.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister stated that both countries are determined to eliminate terrorism and improve bilateral relations.
People of Afghanistan live in our hearts, he added.
The premier said that Afghanistan and Pakistan will not allow terrorists to use its soil against each other.
He said that ongoing anti-terrorism operation (Zarb-e-Azb) in the North Waziristan tribal region has destroyed basic structure and network of terrorists.
The Afghan Parliamentary delegation is currently visiting Pakistan to participate in the dialogue that aims to bring security experts, politicians, diplomats on one platform to discuss regional security and suggest measures for achieving peace and stability.
