ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The first formal session of Election Commission presided over by Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Raza Khan ended without any conclusions on Tuesday and the dates for local body polls in three provinces could not be determined, Dunya News reported.

The rigging allegations in general elections 2013 are not kept in view. The Election Commission officers confirmed that the summery of 3000cc car for the chief election commissioner was sent to the Prime Minister.

The first session ended without any conclusions and the dates for local body polls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Sindh could not be determined.

Briefing the media after the session, the interim Secretary Election Commission Usman Ali said that Punjab and Sindh will provide the demarcation data by January 2nd whereas Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province will submit the data by January 5th.

He said that the report on the status of local body polls will then be submitted to the Supreme Court on January 8th.
