GARHI KHUDA BAKHSH (Dunya News) – The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) workers paid a visit to their leader s tomb, former prime minister (PM) late Benazir Bhutto on her seventh death anniversary whereas the ceremony in Peshawar witnessed strife among the workers and in Gujranwala the workers attacked on the food.
The PPP could not trace down the murderers of late Benazir even after being five years in the government.
Former president Asif Ali Zardari, while addressing the participants of the rally held in connection with the death anniversary said that he has been trained by late Benazir Bhutto.
PPP co-chairman expressed a resolve to continue standing up for what is right. He said that the they would continue to fight to make this country stronger.
He said that they would sign the document of agreement on a condition that the army courts would not be used against civilians. Zardari advised PM Nawaz Sharif to be careful in the matter and should not let these courts have both of them tried.
Zardari said that the opposing parties are spreading rumours about PPP and its chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. As many as 450 children were killed on the Shara-e-Faisal, he added. He said that they do not know the difference between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ Taliban.
PPP co-chairman said that they would not allow the misuse of army courts.
Zardari also said that Benazir had demanded separation between Afghan and Kashmir jihad.
Separately, in Peshawar the death anniversary ceremony of former PM late Benazir witnessed strife among the PPP workers. Whereas in Gujranwala and Multan, the workers attacked on food at the death anniversary ceremony.
