MULTAN (Dunya News) – Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Tuesday held an open court in the Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) and fired an Executive Engineer (X.en) and several employees after hearing out the complaints of the customers.
According to the details, the minister inaugurated the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Cell and Complaints Cell in the office.
The AMI cell would help in measuring the amount of electricity supply of transformers of different areas and catch the electricity thievery.
On the occasion , Sher Ali held an open court to elevate the stresses of the customers.

Sher Ali said that Peshawar attack marked the black day in the history of Pakistan and that they would not spare the barbarians responsible for the terror attack.
Moreover, the minister fired an X.en, SPOs, Line-men and several other employees for taking bribe from the customers.
