Summary 'Pawn in foreign hands' must be punished whether it is a person or an institution, says JI chief

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Jamaat Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq has said that ‘pawn in foreign hands’ must be punished whether it is a person or an institution. He said that decisions in Pakistan are made in American interest instead of being made in national interest.

Talking to delegations on Sunday in Mansura, Sirajul Haq said that imperialist powers try to lead people away from Islam by maligning the religion. He said that it did not suit any Muslim to talk about setting mosques on fire.

Sirajul Haq said that Peshawar attack is not an ordinary incident. “It was a bigger incident than 911”, he said.

JI head said that Muslims are being forced to convert to Hinduism in India under state patronage. He said that India will have to act responsibly for regional peace.
