Summary The group would give recommendations on 16 anti-terrorism laws

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The National Action Plan Committee’s anti-terrorism working group on Saturday has prepared its agenda to counter terrorism in the country.

According to the sources, the group would give its reforming propositions regarding at least 16 anti-terrorism laws.

Moreover, establishment of army courts in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Provincially Administered Tribal Areas (PATA) would be reviewed.

Earlier, the National Action Plan Committee established by the Prime Minister (PM) after the Peshawar attack had decided to form a working group consisting of both civilian and military experts to give recommendations to counter terrorism.

The group would present its recommendations to the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar-led body, formed by PM Nawaz Sharif.
