Summary Resolution terms Peshawar attack as an attack on Pakistan's future, condemns terrorism
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Senate unanimously adopted the resolution condemning Peshawar attack on Friday, terming the attack as an attack on Pakistan’s future, Dunya News reported.
At the start of the session, headed by Chairman Senate Naiyyer Hussain Bukhari, the routine activities were suspended for praying for the martyrs of Peshawar attack.
Later, Senator Raza Rabbani presented the resolution condemning the attack. The resolution was unanimously adopted.
Chairman Senate said on this occasion that the nation expected practical steps to be taken for eradication of terrorism. He said that the entire nation stood with the aggrieved families. Later, Senate session was adjourned till Monday evening.
