ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 on the Richter scale struck Swat, Chitral, Lower Dir and adjoining areas on early Friday morning.
Metrological Department sources informed that the epicentre of the earthquake was located in the Hindu Kush Mountains in Afghanistan.
The quake panicked the residents who immediately came out of their homes. However, there are no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
