Summary Fedeal govt schools will remain closed from 25 – 31 Dec, Punjab schools to reopen on Jan 3.
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Provincial government has announced winter vacations in the government schools of Punjab from 19th of December. The schools will remain closed till 3rd of January. Notification of the vacations has been issued, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, the winter vacations were scheduled to start from Monday but after Peshawar Attack, it was decided to start them earlier. The sudden intensity in the cold has also caused this decision.
Winter vacations in private schools are also expected to start from coming Monday.
On the other hand, federal government has also announced the vacation schedule. Schools under federal government will remain closed from 25th of December to 31st.
