Summary A national plan of action in the supervision of Interior Minister will be presented, says PM
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday has said that no discrimination would be done between ‘good Taliban’ and ‘bad Taliban’ as there is only one kind which is devoted to harm humanity.
He expressed these views at a press conference after the emergency meeting of all the parliamentary parties.
The plan includes strengthening the intelligence network, he added.
He said that a few terrorists have run towards Afghanistan.
A committee has been formed regarding the Peshawar attack which would present a national plan of action in the supervision of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, the PM added.
PM Nawaz remarked that if terrorists were not punished then who would be.
He said that the meeting stressed countering of terrorism on every platform.
While answering a question, he said that the leaders of the neighbouring countries have also expressed a resolve to not let their land be used to harm others.
PM also said that the Operation Zarb-e-Azb was started indiscriminately against terrorists.
There is no problem that could not be solved through talks, he added.
PM Nawaz said that they want to further the process of democracy in the country and they are working for the betterment of it.
On the occasion, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said that the issue between the government and PTI is not of an ego, it is about supremacy of the democracy in the country.
They want to take the process of strengthening of democracy ahead, he added.
Khan said that he wanted to clear this to the nation that the issue between the two sides is a separate issue and they stand with each other against the Peshawar attack.
While answering a question, he said that he would leave for his container in Islamabad where the party members would offer funeral prayer in absentia of the martyrs of the Peshawar attack.
Khan also said that is was customary on them to get united after such a tragic incident.
Both the leaders shook hands at the end of the press conference.
