Summary Terrorism in Peshawar was a national tragedy, says Nawaz Sharif
PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday reached Peshawar after the militants attacked Army Public School in Peshawar to review the situation and talked to the officials.
Talking to the media he said militants have attacked my children and I, myself, will monitor the operation against them.
He said that they stand with the bereaved adding that this terrorist attack is not only the pinnacle of barbarianism but a cowardly act.
PM announced three-day mourning stating that terrorism in Peshawar was a national tragedy.
He has called an emergency meeting of the parliamentary parties on December 17 (tomorrow).
The PM expressed a resolve to himself monitor the situation.
However, the Pakistan Army is carrying out a clearance operation in the area.
