ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government’s committee formed to hold negotiations with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would give its draft prepared regarding the Judicial Commission to PTI’s team as it has finalised its homework.
According to the sources, the government side has prepared its points for negotiations with PTI and it would stress the trust-building measures on the first day.
The government’s team would try to convince PTI to cancel the demonstration of protests and refraining from passing derogatory statements on each other would be advised.
On the other hand, PTI’s vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that they could think upon cancelling the Islamabad sit-in in the Judicial Commission is established.
Furthermore, according to the sources, the government would try to take PTI in confidence regarding the points already agreed upon in earlier rounds of negotiations.
The government s negotiating team would also, reportedly, present the fact that the Judicial Commission would have all the authorities of the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan and that the retired judges would be investigated after the rejection from the SC.
