Summary Sindh govt finalized its strategy for PTI protest, won't stop 'peaceful' protest, says Qaim Ali Shah
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that the Sindh government and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) have agreed over 9 out of 23 places that PTI had demanded for its protests. He told that according to Sindh government’s commitment with the PTI, the protests will be held at 9 places in Karachi on 12th of December.
Holding the press conference today (Thursday) in Karachi, CM Sindh said that there are threats of terrorism in Karachi and all the law-enforcement agencies have been alerted therefore. He said that all the leaders including Chairman PTI Imran Khan will be given fool-proof security.
CM Sindh said that Pakistan People’ s Party (PPP) had no issues with the PTI and PPP workers would not come out on roads on Friday. He said that the protest will not be stopped if it remains peaceful.
Provincial Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon said on this occasion that Imran Khan will be given more security than CM Sindh. He asked the PTI to end its protest before evening prayers. “Law-enforcing agencies will also have to make arrangements for Shia processions”, he said.
