ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Judicial Council on Thursday has rejected the petition to resume salary of Auditor General Buland Akhtar Rana.
The meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council was headed by the Chief Justice (CJ) of Pakistan Nasirul Mulk.
Rana’s council Rana Zahid Hussain made a plea to the council to cancel the orders of the Controller General Accounts to stop the salaray of the Auditor General.
According to the sources, the council rejected the plea of Rana Zahid and gave a date of January 12 for further proceedings.
The council further ordered to submit the witnesses nominated by the petitioner’s side before the next hearing.
