KARACHI (Dunya News)—Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Khursheed Shah said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’c chief Imran Khan is protesting since he wants to become the Prime Minister of Pakistan. PPP or Sindh government will not hinder Imran’s protest in Karachi. Altaf Hussain should join the Parliament as a Senator. He should come to Pakistan, God will protect him.
Talking to the media in Islamabad, opposition leader said that both government and PTI should proceed with negotiations and whatever decision is taken by the Judicial Commission would be accepted by all the parties. Those who don’t agree with the decision would be the real hindrance.
Shah remarked that Imran himself has talked about negotiations as he must have realized that it’s not easy to sustain a movement for that long a period. Therefore, to improve the political situation he has finally decided to step off his container.
He said that once the negotiations begin, Imran should take back his call for protest. He also affirmed that Sindh government would not stop Imran from holding his protests in Karachi and he also appealed MQM to accept Imran’s call for protest.
